Edit: especially if you're aiming for the true end so you have to sacrifice all of your powerful upgrades to become a human.

I've read or heard the books half a dozen times thanks to younger relatives  and that one line is in reference to her coming back from vacation. Given the context of it, I always thought it was obvious it was supposed to mean she had gotten a wicked tan because you don't describe your best friend as being "looking very brown" when talking about changes from their previous appearance if they're usually brown. But maybe I'm weird for not doing that. I'm tempted to say it specifically mentions her tan fading later on, too, but I don't have those books that burned into my memory yet. I do know this, kids cry more when the owl dies than when Dumbledore dies.Anyway, I've been playing Skyrim again.  This is an old comic but boy howdy if it isn't accurate to my experience.
