Never seen either of them and can't make it tonight. Looks like a good lineup though. Seems like a classics weekend. Someone let me know if Lurd's lust for dog death happens again tonight. Also Lurdiak, let me know if I won the pizza at first draw. Obviously I won't' be there but I'm just curious.

For future reference, Pizza Nova is banned from the raffle options because they do not take online payments.

Kinda rude to posit, but is the first movie must-see as much as the second? I've got a handful of things I want to deal with, but people are seemingly really praising the second and ignoring the first.

I'm mad that I missed Pontypool, but five minutes in the stream made me realize I was too tired/hungover to sit at a computer for two more hours. I love that movie.

Pontypool was amazing. I had written it off as just another one of the many zombie flicks coming out at that time, and it kind of is.. but no, not really. Much more existential horror imo. Really an original and frightening concept. Loved it

When it's done even halfway decent, madness as some contagious thing you actually catch I love it to pieces. (I don't know if we need to spoil stuff from a previously shown movie?)

"Kill is kiss." My friend and I first saw this movie together and wondered what the gently caress when it all started "coming together," we couldn't stop laughing.
