I think all the research into Trump's near-constant business bankruptcies has found that he makes sure that everything is set up so money gets funneled directly to him and he has to suffer little impact even as his casinos, hotels, and airlines collapse. He's honestly an awful businessman in the sense that almost all of his ventures have been failures of some sort, except for stuff like real estate investments. I wonder if a way to deal with alt-right type people one encounters in real life would be to pretend to be one oneself and then enthusiastically defend Hitler, expecting the other person to agree. See if Poe's Law can be used for a practical purpose.
