I'm feeling really down on myself today--a pinched nerve or something has got me using a walker for the last week and a half, and I'm used to working out at least once a day and doing some fairly extreme sports. Today it kinda hit me how long my recovery might be, and that my marathoning days might be over for now. Can you please send me uplifting, happy, inspiring stuff as well as cute animals? I'm trying to stay positive and it's really hard.

I got a new cat, Dickens (cause he was a tiny orphan and also a Devil Dickens of a cat). He refuses to wear anything but a pink color and has already commandeered all the good sleep spots from the dogs. Check this amazing fuzzball:  He's obsessed, and I do mean that, with Dutch electronica. If I play W&W he descends upon the computer like a rave kid on too much cheap molly.  I think I got a good one, guys. edit: I forgot the best part, he nearly died of pneumonia and a severe eye infection at three weeks old. We got him healthy through pure magic. Our cats were being cute on their own, and I attemtped to get a nice picture of it: But then this guy had to come in and ruin it:   I guess it's the closest thing we'll get to a "family photo" to out on our holiday cards to send out to friends and relatives.
