I read a study or article or something somewhere that pointed out that blacks and latinos tend to match up with republicans value-wise and the only thing keeping them from aligning themselves with the GOP is the GOP's own masturbatory hatred of The Other. To be clear this was talking about claimed values, not the republicans' actual values of "starve the poor and make them pay for the privilege"
