Does anyone really believe that a society with the technical ability to conjure any kind of food out of thin air and create full-body VR that is indistinguishable from reality would do anything other than wallow in a holodeck scarfing pizza forever?

Its good to put a scoop of ice cream in my coffee cup instead of ice so it comes out as a drinkable temperature, but i only do that if I'm baked and wanting sweets.

Apply to the best schools you can, take whatever combo of highest ranked and best money offer and then make sure you are top quarter at least.

I think they prolly offer the same amount to everyone? So ask people at the schools you want to go to, you'll get a better answer

don't go to law school

Yoda

A Jedi I am

Look at conditions for maintaining your scholarship. I have a full scholarship and the only way I lose it is if I flunk out. Other schools will dangle money and then take it all away if you don't get a 3.XX gpa, and then curve lower so you don't get it. And then after you get it you can't transfer because your gpa is poo poo.

Also, don't go to law school

I'm certainly never going to law school, but I appreciate the advice. More specifically though, is there any tool to gauge what schools in a certain range are generally more generous than others without manually poring over each disclosure form? Like the admissions predictors but with a financial element. I know I could get a barely worthwhile full ride to east nowhere tech university online, etc, but that doesn't really help me up the ladder

It is only going to get worse for Ontario students in the near future when Ryerson opens up a new flood of graduates. https://theeyeopener.com/2016/10/ryerson-law-school-set-to-run-by-2020/

I remember it was so bad in Ontario that UofT (the top law school in Canada) was asking grads who found work to donate a day of pay to give to students who had to take unpaid positions. http://www.canadianlawyermag.com/5496/U-of-T-Students-Law-Society-holds-off-on-the-OneDayofPay-campaign.html Have we learned nothing from the American school monstrosity?

everyone saw this coming when they let that jumped-up high school have the LPP. Now that LSUC's going to let it lapse Ryerson wants something to replace it.

Three law schools in Toronto? What a great idea. Why not four? Centennial, George Brown, Seneca - all potential spaces for law schools.
