As someone who gave warning a few weeks ago that TNA was going to have a next level death lurch. Like that I can only just give an early warning that indie Wrestling and Wrestling in general's landscape is set to change forever starting next week and not how you immediately think.

Sorry but the Tim "Perfect" Storm has already hit the NWA to change wrestling forever.

It looks like they were supposed to come off the rope walk at the same time so Fenix would get like kicked out of the air with little real impact, but he slipped off the rope at the worst time and got legit kicked/leg dropped in the shoulder instead. From the look of it, that's a dislocation at best.

This Flo Sports deal will mean more money and exposure for indie wrestlers. Now they won't have to bother with going to WWE. Looks like WWE's big streak of signing I die names from around the world ends in 2016.

That's about the price point I'm willing to do, as long as there's a free trial period to see if the thing doesn't constantly buffer like mad. flashy_mcflash fucked around with this message at 15:56 on Oct 24, 2016 |

I'm curious as to how many subscribers will be needed for this to be financially viable. If they're giving big money up-front I imagine it would have to be pretty high.

Any idea on why PWG isn't interested in this? Are they trying to keep their cult following vibe? Also, I would love to see Chikara on this but they have their own subscription service. Hm.

PWG's roster consists of people under contract to other companies, it would probably complicate things greatly. Also, Excalibur has said that the idea of things being any more complicated than they presently are sounds like more trouble than it's worth. I remember during an interview he was asked about iPPV and said that even if it weren't for the contract issues, it just seems too stressful. And if Highspots is smart, they probably have a contract with PWG re:streaming rights. El Gallinero Gros fucked around with this message at 19:25 on Oct 24, 2016 |
