This was totally unexpected, who could have imagined that the proud Egyptian navy did not, in fact, need those two heli-carrier Mistrals after all and they simply acted as middlemen for the transfer to the original customer. Also I hear people claim that Libyan strongman Haftar is bankrolled by Russia, I really have no idea of the substance of that claim and it might just be bullshit.

Its true. Especially this one.

This is the same government that's exhuming the victims of the Smolensk plane crash including the dead president and his wife to prove this minister's crackpot theory about a conspiracy between Putin and former Polish PM current European Council President Donald Tusk to assassinate a president that was down 15 point in the polls in an election year.

So the parliamentary elections in Lithuania have now come and gone.
Lithuanian Peasant and Greens Union has crushed and destroyed traditional parties claiming over a 3rd of the seats in the parliament (54 out of 141), overtaking the Homeland Union (Conservatives and Christian Democrats) party (31 seats), Lithuanian Socialdemocratic Party (17 seats) and the Lithuanian Liberal Movement (14 seats).
The rest are what the locals call "the crazies":
* Lithuanian Polish Election Movement - Christian family Union (8 seats) [ Polish minority basically ]
* Party Law and Order ( 8 seats ) [ Party dedicated to "revive" the reputation of an impeached president ]
* Independednt candidates (4 seats)
* Worker's party ( 2 seats ) [ A basically dead party ]
* Anticorruptional coalition of N.Puteikis and K.Krivickas (1 seat) [Yup, thats the name, they were thinking about even a longer one with many names in it]
* Lithuanion Greens Party ( 1 seat ) [ Similar to the winners, but more radical and they're not even hippies... ]
* Political Party "Lithuanian List" ( 1 seat ) [ Completely boring people that noone really knows anything about ]

What the winners have planned for now:
* Create a state wide alcohol monopoly
* Bring national clothing as "standard" clothing in schools
* Have "professionals" in the government (prime minister and other ministers) that have no affiliation with parties and can be controlled from the parliament

Talks are currently held in the presidential palace to decided on who will be forming the new government.

If all goes well, you won't have to go to Utah to see an Amish Paradise.

It's hard to place or describe the context of these "professionals" for example, but to give something to think about is: They think a farmer that went against being able to sell land to foreigners, against atomic energy, who never even could construct a proper argument against these ideas as "the best candidate for being a prime minister".

Actually you should definitely read the comments because this is a work of art

quote:

In April 2016 I visited Lithuania for work. I stayed in Utenas, about 100 km outside the capital Vilnius.

One day on our way to another city, my local colleague asked me if we could step by the cemetery where some family members were buried, to tidy up their tomb. It is customary at those places.

Of course i said yes.

What I saw, while he was cleaning the tomb: Many, many other tombs with names of kids aged from 17 to 30 and next to them, names of men aged from 40 to 60. Same surname between the boy and the man, in each case.

-What is going on here? I asked.

-Well the kids commit suicide because they find no means to get a living, and then their fathers kill themselves with alcohol. Back in the days of the Russians (This is how they call the USSR), each city and each place had multiple factories. Here at Utenas we used to produce TVs and refrigerators. Now there is nothing. Everything is shut down. And as far as the european union is concerned, the only thing we ever saw was the EU passport, to abandon our country, to go and work for a piece of bread in Germany or the UK, to be treated horribly, and be called an immigrant.

When I arrived at the place where I spent my week, I realized in panic that there were train lines passing right next to the building. Well, I didn't need to worry. During an entire week, only ONE, very short train passed. This is how much of commerce is going on.

One evening we visited Zarazai, a fantastic, beautiful place. It overlooks a big lake. Very, very beautiful. There was nobody in the streets. It is a sight that you cannot believe, an entire city, empty mid-day. "Where is everybody?", I asked. "Well they are at home. People do not have money not even to buy a cup of coffee. As an example of the economic situation, is the corruption inflicted on the people by the EU. The EU obliged the city's authorities to open up the city's central heating system, to "investors". Result? What for decades used to be free, all of a sudden people were requested to pay 500 euros annually to get their houses warm. This, in a country where the base salary is 260 euros.".

"We had a saying at the time of the Russians. That even if you go to a party and get completely drunk, the next day your kid will still have to eat. Why? Because a loaf of bread costed 7 cents of a ruble, while if you return your empty bottle to a recycling facility, they give you 12 cents."

By the way in the "environment-unconscious" according to western media USSR, they were recycling all house waste since the 70ies.

We drove shortly into the neighboring Latvia. Exactly the same situation.

All those countries have been completely and utterly devastated by approaching "the west". They have seen absolutely no kind of benefit, be it economic, direct or indirect investment, or any way of improving their people's lives. The EU has been an absolute disaster for them.

At the same time, they are now being set up to be slaughtered like the Ukrainians are, in amerigang's pursue of WWIII.

I hope as many people as possible find an opportunity and visit those countries to get a personal opinion of what is really going on.

The first episode was broadcast by the state-owned channel Rossiya 1 on Kadyrov’s 40th birthday this month. The contestants had been forewarned to expect a rough ride.
