Boy the CM is a real pain in the rear end without much in the way of SBs for easy damage with 100% accuracy. I ended up just using a regular team and then crushing the U++, maybe I'll go back for it later with a different setup but I kind of doubt it because the evasion gimmick is just really unsatisfying to fight against, even if you dispel Blink and use Reflect.

You can't Dispel Blink. You have to Reflect her before she casts it (probably using Raw Power RM to reduce the RNG).

Looks like EXP dungeons are going to be twice per week in six months' time. Several dungeons also get dual synergy, for instance, Black/Power has synergy for both IV and VIII. Basically, every realm has at least one daily per week now.

Was going to use my MCIII from this event on Tyro, but then I noticed Ramza's sitting there, and I have to make my boy Ramza the strongest he can be. Sadly it seems his RM3 really sucks. But yeah, speaking of Ramza, his Unsung Hero burst was great for the U++ this event, I grabbed a Shout RW so he could make full use of it. Cait Sith did Multi Breakdown dances and some Alexander summons, Agrias used a couple of Aegis Strikes and then Saint's Cross, and Rinoa tried to keep up with Meteor and her BSB but didn't do great damage, not having any magic synergy at all for II really hurt her.

Can someone explain to me how they're getting like 30k damage with Maria's BSB commands on the U+? I'm barely even cracking 10k.

Maybe I can get away with giving Faith to someone. Shame she can't use MM too.

Got the U+ CM mastered with a physical team RW shout. Turns out I had 3 usable synergy weapons, Josef's first fist (suicide lawls), Gaia blade, and reforged Wing Sword+++. Then I had the most satisfying setup for the U++: Paladin Cecil at lvl 99, almost fully moted, with Excalibur (IV), Platinum Shield, Lifesiphon and Aegis Strike. Paladin Force into Aegis Strike and no more Black Knights!

If I spent several thousand dollars on this game, and the only bonus I received was a few items equivalent to a run through an orbfest dungeon, and an advance notice about upcoming events thats going to be posted on teh intarweb anyhow, I'd probably rage quit. And 5 minutes later I'd realize I had sunk several thousand dollars and go back into the game and just stare at all my 8* equipment.

New players should start doing dailies as much as possible and build up a stock of greens to buy the wardrobe records they missed. At least for their favorites. It would be a bit weird to get Lenna and Galuf's default outfits on Halloween of all things, but I wouldn't complain.

Faris BSB, Thancred's Yoshimitsu, Wakka's Attack Reels (yuck) and a dupe Kaiser Shield. 4/11 is a record for me, first XIV weapon, and a BSB too . If I skip out on a White Mage I can field a full BSB party now.

Finally a big pull! Granted, that's two for Strago who I'll probably never use, but still, it's gonna be a 6* rod. Also, I now have every single one of Fang's SBs without ever having pulled for one. I now have 5 distinct 5* spears for XIII.... how useful.
