they clumped F1-8 together to make room for their stupid logo, and also rearranged ins/del/home/end for no good fuckin reason. like, why? and the little LCD was worthless

something that bugs my brain about my thinkpad's keyboard is that the fn-lock LED is backwards. i.e. when you have it toggled so that the F-keys are F-keys, the light is on. that should be the default, where the light is off. argh

apple just added this to macOS Sierra. OS X was always able to change caps lock to ctrl/cmd/option but not esc. IIRC anyways.
