Ha, I was waiting for someone to trot out the "innocent until proven guilty" line Just for the benefit of , if there was any doubt as to his guilt, they wouldn't be holding him without the option of bail until his sentancing trial. If there was reasonable doubt, they would have the option to electronically tag him, or to place him at a "halfway house" while 'out' on bail, they withhold bail when there is literally no doubt, or they think he would harm someone or himself, or try to do a runner. Innocent people do not do a runner, harm others or themselves unless they are incomprehensibly stupid and wish to makes themselves appear guilty or want to have loaded firearms pointed at them.

A lot of cancers are treatable these days, people can even make full recoveries from cancers that 20 years ago would have certainly caused a painfull and lingering death. Wing Commander the movie, is an untreatable, slow, lingering and painfull way to go. You cannot unsee it once seen, even exposure to short clips can cause nausia, vomitting, paranoia, uncontrollable hysterics and bladder failure.

Breetai posted:lolling forever at the fact that Star Citizen is working on 2.6 and 3.0 simultaneously in preparation for the big door fix rollout, whereas Frontier is working on 1.x and 2.x patches but there's an actual logical reason for working on different iterations of different patch numbers thanks to the way the DLC is handled and there's actual gameplay additions. Like, RSI is once again being beaten around the head by their competitors in a very specific way and all I can do is laugh. Read someone on the SC thread on the Frontier forums who said the only time you maintain two separate code branches is when you have an already released legacy product along side a new and improved product and I guess Elite qualifies as that. They still make updates, like passenger missions, for the people who own just the legacy 1.0 game plus the fighters, etc. for those with horizons. I guess that makes a certain amount of sense. Problem with Star Citizen is they don't have a released branch unless the SC fans want to claim what they have now is an actual product and not some phantom stage of development.
