RWs letting me punch above my weight in the coliseum. Now have motes I cant use until I break level caps, which I have no crystals for yet! Did score me the earth orbs for Protectga though  Dollar pulled Mace of Zeus, which doesn't seem all that special, but it's my first source of medica so hooray

I thought, "oh, I have tons of female characters leveled with SBs, making a team for the girl power battle will be easy!" Then I actually looked, and they're all healers  Thus goes my pseudo mage meta team: Faris / Relm / Y'shtola / Selphie / Maria, with Faris record dived up to 5* dancer because multi break is a useful as hell thing to have. e: Oh, that was really easy. Like, not even ultimate level; possibly not even ++ level. Now I feel silly. After layering two faithgas my summons were doing two 9999s to all of them, and I didn't even get to use Maria's BSB. I feel like the Omega fight is going to end up being stupidly hard in comparison to these other coliseum fights, unless this was just the easy one and they start ramping up from here. Also I've done almost 20 dollar pulls and I've never gotten a 5-star of any kind, so it's probably time I stop doing them before I hit the point where I would have been better off whaling on a banner.

Dollar draw was junk, but it's fine, I have half of the items on the banner anyway. In other news, I missed doing the Curada Nightmare, so that's going to be on the docket next time it opens up. Trying to juggle this, JPN FFRK, Mobius, and other gaming is starting to take its toll. There's just too much going on, and it'll be worse at the end of the month with XV releasing. Never enough time, is there?

I brought Ashe (RW'd Dusk's Decree with a similar arrangement to what I used with U!Mateus), Agrias (Banishing & Cleansing Strike), Fran (Magic & Mind Breakdown), Selphie (Dreamstage & Shellga) and Terra (BSB, Drainga and her BLK Doublecast RM2). Managed to not lose medals in the end, but I underestimated not bringing Protectga and always I paid it with Agrias dying to a surprise Cindy-Mindy Tag Team Combo. Oh, and I fittingly forgot Faris counted as a Girl.

All the fights are multi-target, so you can just quash them with sufficient AoE (although you might want to use ST stuff for Biran/Yenke since it's only two targets). Omega itself is basically encouraging Stop-lock (and it's a medal condition anyway). He starts with Flash and then Reflect, so if you're using physical teams you'll either have to bring Blind resist accessories, Blindna/Esuna, or just Lifesiphon/Pound and SBs. If you're using a mage team, bring Dispel to handle Reflect in case you don't Stop him in time. He absorbs all elements except Lightning (which he's weak to).

Global is certainly a unique experience.

There will be an exp dungeon during the Onion Knight event, which comes a while before the orbfest, so don't stress about leveling them too fast. When people talk about spending mythril to refresh sundaily it hurts me.

Thanks for the feedback, Hit n Run and a lot of breakdowns and some luck regarding Slows and Stops hitting the least useful character worked out in the end. 50 more budgeted mythril can be moved to the future ultrahype stuff now, hooray for hooooardiiiing.

FF12, Zodiac Jobs edition, was good.  But yeah, these Ultimates are pretty hard. Still haven't done Daedalus++, because gently caress that guy, but I did enjoy how much of a fight Ahriman+ put up before I took him down.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Mateus U and Ahriman U+. Mateus in particular was a real nail-biter, I one-shot it but only by the skin of my teeth. It didn't really feel like anything in the fight was bullshit, he just straight up bombards you with damage and you need to take out the adds fast before you're overwhelmed. Ahriman was a bit annoying, but once you knew the scripted slow was coming it was just a matter of preparing for maser eye. The only fight in that event I really despise is Daedalus U++, because of the bullshit stop RNG and his insanely high MND meaning that anyone he hits with stop may as well be dead.

At least Daedalus has pretty bad rewards, unless you're gunning for something that requires Earth or Wind Crystals.
