Yeah, decryption still takes a bit so you aren't instantly playing on release but its a hell of a lot better than waiting for the whole game to DL.

Gen 7 has some cool new combos like Poison/Fire and Dragon/Fighting, but gen 1 still has some unique ones as well like Ghost/Poison, Ground/Poison and Flying/Poison (only got an evo in gen II).
