I'm not in the US but what if I'd rather set myself on fire than vote for any of the options? I'm still going to complain about whoever wins

It's been fine for days, and when I bring it out to surprise her, it turns on the CEL. gently caress YOU, CAR.

Voted a week ago at the downtown brooksville location. In and out in ten minutes flat. Bottomed out like a mother fucker leaving though. Put my sticker on the back of my phone and tried to get my rear end home with my rapidly getting worse vacuum leak. Good times, would early vote instead of standing in line with a bunch of old fucks again, even if my day of voting location is within 3 minutes walking distance of my house. Apparently someone brought literally every form of ID possible for the volunteers to accept this year and there is about a dozen. I thought I was being silly bringing my passport and social in addition to my drivers license...

Jill Stein is running, and IMO she's the least morally-bankrupt. But she has zero chance of winning; her last bid for the oval office (2012) got her around 0.4% of the popular vote - and zero electoral votes. I'm guessing she'll have a better popular vote this time, but still zero electoral votes. I don't really see a way for anyone outside of the two party system to make it to the presidency anytime soon, thanks to the electoral college system. West SAAB Story posted:You're a honorary citizen already, then. My CEL has been on for well over a year. When I smogged my car last year, I kept my OBD2 adapter hooked up after clearing the codes, and as soon as it was down to 1 not ready, I hauled rear end to get it smogged. The CEL comes back on within a couple of miles now, though. Need a new catalytic converter... and surprise surprise, the money I was going to spend getting a new cat is now going to the loving toll authority, since the assholes blocked my registration. I can see why they'd do that if you weren't trying to work with them, but they refuse to let me set up a payment plan (apparently they only do that if you owe them several thousand.. and even then, I was told by a CSR that they don't often grant payment plans until you're coming up on 5 figures?!?). I've been trying to work with the fuckers for several months. Yeah... I do have an O2 sensor spacer I was going to try out. Problem is, the secondary sensor is visible from under the hood (if you look anyway), so it'll probably fail the visual check. Going to throw it on tomorrow anyway though and see if it gets rid of the light. If it does, I definitely won't be trying to hide the spacer with high temp dark paint. I MIGHT be able to get a one time waiver, but it's not likely. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 08:03 on Nov 3, 2016 |

Jill Stein is an idiot who has spent her campaign courting the anti-vaxxers, gmo-haters, and wi-fi causes cancer crowd. She runs every few years as effectively a protest candidate because the Greens refuse to build an actual party structure and try to build up enough down-ballot offices to actually have enough support and resources to even attempt a real campaign. They're a joke, and would still be a joke if we weren't first-past-the-post.

I could have gone into the next city to vote (most of it is in the same county, and at least here, you can vote anywhere in your home county) and probably saved a minute or two of driving, but... I've been wanting to get a library card here. From the time I got out of my car to getting back in... I voted, got a library card, found several books, checked them out, and got back in the car. I think I was out of the car for about 15 minutes. I think it took about as long to get a library card as it took to stand in line, vote, and get my OMG I VOTED sticker.

^^^^: Excellent! In perhaps better political news, it looks the there will probably need to be a parliamentary debate before the UK can trigger article 50 to leave the EU. Time for everyone to start leaning heavily on their MPs.

Spog, my Phantom did indeed turn up, appears to be genuine, new, and in a sealed box. Came with a separate UK plugged figure 8 lead, so I assume it originated from foreign or ex-works sources, but as far as I'm aware they're all the same regardless of country. I got it from https://www.techinthebasket.com, who interestingly enough seem to be the ones with them up on Amazon at £410 (I paid £375). They said "1 in stock" when I ordered, then it vanished from their site, and now it's back up - again, 1 in stock. Suspect they're drop shipping from elsewhere.

Cools, thanks for the info. Much appreciated. I had a sudden fear that this might be a flash-in-the-pan hobby for me, so I bought one of these cheapie Symas to see if I play with it for more than a week. At least I know that the P3S is going to always be suitable, if I decide to buy at a later date. Looking forward to seeing your footage. The 'follow me' feature seems potentially a lot of fun for drivers.

I have decided that since it seems there isn't much else I can do about it at the moment other than try to convert people so I shall now be sharing excessive pro EU/anti brexit stuff on facebook. I like that a private company is able to manipulate a state agency. In theory, NTTA should be like any other debtor - you pay what you can on a regular basis, and they shouldn't be allowed to put you into default. "Good faith" doctrine, I think. But basically, if you're trying to pay, they can't send you to collections, which I would think would include not suspending your registration. and yeah, that's dumb, besides. So, hindsight and all, what you should have done is just start paying what you could, rather than waiting for them to offer terms, if they were refusing to do so. fjelltorsk posted:Hello internets, im drinking beer for breakfast, playing hookie from work to pet my dog.
