If you're going to use words like 'natural imbalances' in a discussion about race, you should probably be pretty clear about what you mean. If you don't qualify natural imbalances with a "in terms of education, job opportunities, etc. caused by the inherent racism the in societal structures and institutions", (or something in that vein) you're basically sounding like a full on nazi. Also, one of the points is that it's not using a counterweight, it's trying to address the (invisible for lots of people) colossal weight which is already on the 'white/male' side of the scale.

I early voted in NC yesterday. Thankfully the community college I teach at is an early voting station! I hope all of the students take the opportunity to go and vote. I know one of the other instructors that teaches a high school class on campus in our program was making it a "field trip" with his 18 year old seniors to go down to the gym so they would have the opportunity to vote. I had to wait in line about 40 minutes. Its been slammed since it opened a week ago.

Like, I'm not trying to be rude or anything. I legit never realised Jade was supposed to be black. She's relatively pale skinned and just came across as "Vaguely Mediterranean" to me. I don't remember the game ever going into it but I'm guessing she had mixed race parents?
