I was really ready to jump ship from the Scirocco but poo poo like that is making me reconsider. These cars are so loving easy once you understand K Jetronic and yet kijiji up here is littered with $1000 ready to sell the car off because the shift is sloppy or it won't idle properly so they just give up.

You know you're in for a great test drive when PO is conspicuously disinterested in riding shotgun and hands you a fire extinguisher on your way out.

Worst part? That's not even the worst I've seen for a Mazda in Cleveland. Every once and awhile I'll see the trunk or hatch with rust like that.

Yeah, protege's were famous for the trunk lid dissapearing starting from where they drilled badge holes. The surprising one is 08-14 GM pickups. they've had 100 fuckin years to figure it out, and in 10 years, there won't be one with a box left on it.

I plan to hide gopros under the hood of the race car once the swap is complete to film people at car shows. Wasted time at work today by window-shopping. I was wondering why I saw an R32 a couple weeks ago: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5820612348.html And you folks mentioned Honda Beats before as well: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5848118612.html What's with all these RHD cars? (Also I'm pretty sure this one isn't legal, unless they convinced the FHTSA that crash tests would be the same as a LHD Civic hatch. That, or this guy literally just created a clone using a US VIN, with RHD and all.) https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5847882060.html Speaking of Honda hatches: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5852544332.html And here's a car that wants to kill you: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5854627014.html I'll end with a brand-new, 20-year-old roadster: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/5844480786.html

You'll be seeing even more Japanese imports as time clicks forward because we are getting into the desirable models that are finally legal for import.

I'm conflicted as to whether this is the worst or best thing I've seen, sort of leaning on worst given the blown shocks are advertised as a feature, but the crown royal shift boot almost elevates it. Bonus lawnmower pic hidden in the rest: http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cto/5839845328.html
