I was really ready to jump ship from the Scirocco but poo poo like that is making me reconsider. These cars are so loving easy once you understand K Jetronic and yet kijiji up here is littered with $1000 ready to sell the car off because the shift is sloppy or it won't idle properly so they just give up.

Yeah, protege's were famous for the trunk lid dissapearing starting from where they drilled badge holes. The surprising one is 08-14 GM pickups. they've had 100 fuckin years to figure it out, and in 10 years, there won't be one with a box left on it.
