I wonder if Sombra's hack locks a Bastion into whatever mode he's in for the duration, or does it kick him out of deployed turret mode into regular walking mode?

black.lion posted:you can't fool me this is a library Her regular hack is a relatively short range timed thing. Range looks similar to Symmetra's M1, and hacks things in maybe 2 seconds? It's not instant but not super long. Her ult is a big AoE hack, it's line of sight I think, around her.

I just realized: that clincher at the end with Zarya seemingly being ordered to hunt down Sombra is probably gonna end badly, since Sombra looks like she'll be a real hard counter to our favorite Russian.

Sombra is OP. The changes to game modes are dumb. This game is in the shitter. I've already uninstalled. Time for the greener pastures of Team Fortress 2 - a hat simulator by Valve Software.

I don't think her ultimate is line of sight. Stylosa used it and it didn't remove Lucio's barrier from a Reaper that was about 15M away.

I know it said somewhere that it destroys shields, but the examples seem to be Reinhardt's shield and Zarya's bubbles, not shields (the HP units).

Re: quickplay and 1HL, here is a Kotaku article that outlines how the new Arcade mode is going to work. Quickplay will have 1HL by default but one of the Arcade gamemodes is "6v6 no hero limits" so if you really want to play old-style QP you can continue to do so.

china had a full team but got 2 last minute replacements due to visa issues. sweden, finland, and south korea were all entirely pro players but south korea pretty clearly gels together better. like finland is lopsided and doesn't have great options for a lot of good heroes for example

Are there any numbers for Sombra yet? Like invis duration/cooldown, hack cooldown/channeling time (if it can be interrupted like you guys said). Can hacked medkits be counter-hacked by an enemy sombra? Also what is the spread of her weapon like? I haven't been able to watch any streams.  From the looks of it it's another flanker, but with a bit more utility. Like most flankers people will either suck or dominate with her. I'm really not a fan of the invisibility, easily broken or not. Sneaking up on a 200HP support, unloading a clip in their head and instantly teleport to safety doesn't sound very fun tbh.

So has the Doomfist ARG started yet Sombra looks pretty fun to play I've always loved playing spy in team fortress so an invisible hacky shootie girl looks like it may be my Jam. However with her being DPS I'll probably never get to play her because she will get slam picked for the first month or so
