Fifteen of Many posted:Does anyone have tips for power tech tanking? I've a stupid newbie who would like to give it a go. It seems like packs are so spread out though! I have a hard time deciding if I just run around rocket punching or flame spinning everything. Dulfy.com will have a good guide. Just remember the basics - Your job is to get aggro on everything, so hit as many mobs as you can to pull them together. Harpoon stragglers Taunt is a temporary solution to get a mob off someone. Taunting temporarily puts you at the top of the threat list, and gives you 6 seconds to build enough threat that the mob stays on you. If you taunt something then don't attack it, after 6 seconds it's going to go after the healer if no one else has attacked. Basic strategy is to leap into a group of mobs and use your two free flame sweeps, then work on building threat. Always keep focus on target of target. It's how you know if a mob is attacking you. Well technically the contest is to 'post a picture of you in your best costume' so a screenshot is what you want, but that's up to Medullah and the other judges to worry about. Either the way the more entries the merrier, already better than the two total entries we had last time!

I call this costume, my first ever character and I haven't figured out anything about this alleged dye system but I still ended up looking pretty cool even if the helmet's colors don't quite work with the rest of it.

You might know but, just in case, there's a "unify colors" button on the character sheet. You access it by clicking the little chest armor icon on the bottom right. It will match every piece you are wearing to your chestpiece's color scheme. Your helmet would become black/red. E: Although maybe that's not available if you're F2P? Yeah, there's far too many "but thou must" non-choices for my tastes at the moment, especially when the characters offering the "choice" are spouting demonstrably untrue nonsense to support their positions. Darth Marr saying Arcann has power because he has rid himself of all sentiment... when the last dozen cutscenes at the throne have all been about Arcann's sentiment for various family members. The dialogue option to tell them to shove it doesn't do a drat thing. I'm pretty sure I was on the way to a really big, war-changing mission before these diversions. But Lana said I had to ask the Emperor for advice the silly girl.

I think people would dig them more in general if they holstered like the pike does or if they holstered across the small of the back like I think Maul kept his. I always like your designs, but in practice it's the one thing that's kept me from having a dualsaber char up to now. Having a character run around with a 4 foot long pole hanging from their belt nearly to the ground just looks really silly to me.

I don't understand why someone would write a story about destiny in a subscription-based game with player choices, and have the only apparent way to fight that dumb destiny be to stop playing the game altogether.

One of my favorites is the Descendant's Heirloom saber/dualsaber and with the gold ornamentation on the ends, it practically goes to the ground.
