Really, you'd THINK tDToM would have local multiplayer from looking at it, based on the kind of game it is, but it doesn't, because it was cheaper to make it the way it is.

I played and beat Letter Quest in about 3 hours. It was a pretty OK 3 hours but I liked Bookworm Adventures 15 years ago, so there's that.

Yeah I feel exactly the same. I even own Boggle on the PS4, so I'm not big fan of these types of games, but Letter Quest is just SO uninspired. It feels like someone's senior year programming project.

"Ah," Ratz had said, at last, "the artiste."
Considering how tired I am of zombies I gotta say, Organ Trail was a very good choice at like $3. I'm sure a lot of it is nostalgia but there's something incredibly relaxing about watching an RV endlessly trundle along as your friends/family/the cast of Frasier/the current presidential candidates die off one by one thanks to your bad decisions, all in 8-bits.

I think the music helps.

Makes sense, because it really feels like it's just a fairly simple patch away from implementation on PS4.

By the by, finished Steamworld: Heist, and it was pretty good. One thing I did have wrong is the water loss if you abort/lose a mission. I didn't realize at first it's a percentage of the total currency you have banked, so at higher difficulties it really is a big hit.

Also, I had assumed it came with the DLC but it didn't. Oh well.

Just curious, for the spend 100 get 15 back promo, we should get that 15 by the 15th, correct? I haven't done it in a couple of years so I can't remember when exactly it shows up in your wallet.

This is for the Canadian version of the promo, but yeah, it's on or before Nov. 15. It doesn't show up in wallet - you're given a code you have until 11:59PM (PT) on Dec. 13 to redeem. That puts the $15 in your PSN wallet.

I screenshot the T&C for every time this kind of promo goes on, I can only suggest others do the same.

It also helps that, as tired as zombies and zombie parodies are, Oregon Trail's theme of the hardships of survival is a perfect match for a zombie re-skin. Pretty much every situation in Oregon Trail has an apocalyptic analog that doesn't feel forced.

Also the little cameos are fun.

It often goes on sale for less than that but I wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy games where even after you've figured out all the not very well explained mechanics you still have to plan out every stage entirely in your head before you even take the first turn.

Honestly I would try to buy direct from someone. I know a good portion of my friends are all trying to unload their PS4s at the same time for the Pro and there will definitely be people settling for much less than they're worth after release.

Most likely once the pro is out the price of a used old PS4 will plummet.

Depends on which one. Hollow Fragment Vita was pretty fun once you got a hang of the systems and building yourself into a monster with zero attack delay and basically infinite SP. The PS4 version made a bunch of changes though so skills didn't take SP but had a cooldown, meaning you couldn't buff yourself into spamming them infinitely.

Lost Song is an incredibly vanilla action RPG thing, but isn't terrible. Just bland at best.

Hollow Realization is Hollow Fragment style gameplay, but I don't know anything more specific beyond that.
