I'm also in NOVA at a polling station and a little nervous about how few people there are coming through. In 2012 there were big lines. I'll try not to stress too much but was really hoping Trump would get CRUSHED up here. This is a diverse area and I'm mostly seeing white olds...

Oh no - I literally meant that my wife and I voted at our local precinct. There was a ton of early voting on NOVA, so I wouldn't stress about it. I voted with a pretty diverse crew too, so probably just luck of when we showed up to our respective spots.

Higher overall turnout generally helps Democrats yes, since they tend to be ~lower propensity~ voters. It all depends on how that turnout is shaping up demographically.
