My favorite part of the NYT map's little gauges is that they move around even though there's no new information, poo poo gets an update from the server every few seconds and it's just the same cached stuff. The projections it's using absolutely do not take county size and percent remaining into account, it's just using a small window of the newest results it's gotten and it's dumb as hell. Wayne county is at ~58% reported and if it keeps the ratio it's got (they usually do) it has about 175k dem votes to 75k trump votes left, it'll cover the statewide margin and then some. Christ, it's like babby's first election in here.
