Bernie almost certainly would have crushed Trump in the poles. This is the democratic party's fault for allowing Hilary to undermine Bernie and steal the nomination.

God loving damnit. I'm never gonna drive a car again, this makes the 4th or 5th flat this year. And this one actively tried to kill me. Wondering what surprises they'll find inside when they remove the tire. There's a hole big enough to stick a (pinky) finger through under that flap. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 08:14 on Nov 9, 2016 |

I mean the "Bernie or die" people who voted for Trump or Johnson to "send a message to the establishment". Probably not that many of them, but it wouldn't take that high of a percentage just of Johnson voters to not have this happen.

Bernie Sanders would not have won this election either against the Trump machine. Just his self identification as a socialist meant he would have alienated older democratic voters. It'd essentially be tonight's result but with different demographics. I'm entirely convinced that Presidential politics come down to the candidate's personality. This is why Bush won in '00 and '04 (vs. stodgy nerd and wooden personality man respectively), and why Obama won against McCain and Romney (old guy and :lovemerobot:). Trump was just a more exciting candidate who motivated his supporters to come out and vote. Hillary just couldn't do that, especially not with just a milquetoast VP as Kaine. A Clinton/Warren or Clinton/Sanders ticket would have performed better but they didn't want the job. I'm just glad it wasn't Ted Cruz.

In Pennsylvania, there were twice as many votes for Johnson as the margin between Trump and Clinton. Third party voters could have flipped Florida, Michigan, and Wisconsin as well.

I don't really follow it but my state passed a limited medical cannabis law so Not that it'll matter because now the feds are probably gonna crack down hard. Unpopular opinion: I'm all for marijuana being legalized but any relatively able bodied person who is really into medical weed needs to stop kidding themselves. You want to get high. That's ok. Cannabis may be effective for a few specific conditions but the last time I was injured and smoked weed I was just high and in pain. Oh and legal weed means nothing for a lot of us until the courts decide employers can't fire you for having metabolites in your urine. So on the choice for a War Rig, should I be looking at diesel? I figure the extra range plus the unpopularity in the U.S. would mean I could find supplies for longer and stay on the move. That gives me the base, but I'm thinking either Volvo 240 wagon or Mercedes S-Class for the topper, just in case of retaliatory strikes. This is a lot of work...you think 14" and crew are accepting neophytes out there in Kansas?
