Brian Schweitzer seemed like a guy that'd connect with rural America for instance, among others. Then we ended up with Mike Gravel 2.0, O'Malley and Hillary. I just don't understand these results, and hope I'll have a job by the time 2020 rolls around. because hillary has spent the past decade and a half destroying every single strong contender. shes a piece of poo poo

Arguable. Mayor McCheese may survive in NC, but he's behind slightly with 99% in. Coupled with the fact that we thought maybe, just maybe racism was finally dying, it may swing back to hurting LGBTQ folks again. A GIANT PARSNIP posted:Good news everyone! The Nevada firewall held! That's actually a good point. I'm not hoping for anything good, but I certainly wouldn't complain if he burned out some of the old dead underbrush like Lindsay Graham from the Republican party. The problem is who replaces those half dead fucks. I can't help but wonder to what extent he's actually going to try to "be a president to everyone" because I genuinely can't see him doing anything but digging his heels in like a motherfucker.

What you're not accounting for is that Democratic voters are morons, who don't know how to pick winners. At least Oklahoma got most of their ballot initiatives right. I'm not looking forward to this new paradigm of executing prisoners by boiling them alive, but at least they're not sending people to prison for felony drug possession anymore, and at least we're not going to have a twelve cent sales tax.

To be clear I thought Hillary was going to win and while I don't like her at all I did not want Trump to win. But can we finally stop pretending she was this super competent person surrounded by the best and smartest people ever and accept that she was a terrible candidate surrounded by yes men? And that Colin Powell put it best when he said she ruins everything she touches with her hubris? There's real issues in America right now with people being left behind, Trump tapped in to that and Hillary and her supporters thought they could identity politics themselves to a win. This needs to be a wakeup call.
