He won't. Look at all the economic stuff coming out right now. All out of the usual economic neoliberal playbook. Privatize Medicare, scrap all finance regulations, kill Obamacare, scrap all environmental regulations. Next all worker's protection and I guess unions aren't far behind in general. There is no place for trade barriers, outside of some lip service.
Everything those poor sods we now should now embrace so much, wished for. Democrats should work drat hard to make sure they don't get blamed for any of this. And this means - again - don't give an inch to them. Don't work with them. Don't let yourself be pulled into this. Stay away. Shout loud that you oppose all of this. Go out to the rural white areas, go to town halls and tell them where you stand. They don't trust anything in the "lying media", so tell them in person. Get the loving message out that this poo poo is all on Trump's head. Make sure he can't ran from this. Make sure there is no "if Hitler would know! He would make sure to reign them in" situation, where everything evil is blamed on the bad underlings, not the nice, great Führer.

It has a defined meaning. Basically what is described here: http://www.monbiot.com/2016/04/15/the-zombie-doctrine/

quote:

Neoliberalism sees competition as the defining characteristic of human relations. It redefines citizens as consumers, whose democratic choices are best exercised by buying and selling, a process that rewards merit and punishes inefficiency. It maintains that “the market” delivers benefits that could never be achieved by planning.

Attempts to limit competition are treated as inimical to liberty. Tax and regulation should be minimised, public services should be privatised. The organisation of labour and collective bargaining by trade unions are portrayed as market distortions, that impede the formation of a natural hierarchy of winners and losers. Inequality is recast as virtuous: a reward for utility and a generator of wealth, which trickles down to enrich everyone. Efforts to create a more equal society are both counter-productive and morally corrosive. The market ensures that everyone gets what they deserve.

it was lost because apparently bill clinton (and maybe obama?) are the only two people in the upper DNC who wanna burn shoe leather to save a working class voter's job

and bill was told to sit down and shut up

she needed like 100k votes

plenty of things that she did do or didn't do that cost her that margin

comey letter seems to be one of them

and no comey letter + clinton victory and we're having a much different conversation today

neoliberalism comes from political sciences

liberalism says that the world would be a better place if peeps worked together (neoliberalism brings in money and human rights etc etc)

on the opposing side, there is realism, which says trust no1, tha world is a zero-sum game
