Lottery of Babylon posted:Wat a fucken joke... this is wat is wrong wit the world.... people tht dnt like trump should just pack ther poo poo and move out..... #trump Thanks for this. I'm going to ironically post this on Facebook now. I asked my girlfriend about it; she says it's because most of these things are shared across more social media outlets than just Facebook and an image with text on it gets around Twitter's character limitation. I guess that makes sense. Do people scroll past text? It's the exact opposite for me. If I see an image, I assume it's just some dumb poo poo someone is sharing from who knows where. If it's text, it feels more authentic and I am much more likely to stop and read it.

There are some people on Facebook that have some kind of image macro (called "memes" now?) primed for every single kind of response. I don't know how they organize such a library of pictures of Gene Wilder and Patrick Stewart with hilarious rebuttals. Is there a website you can go to where you can type whatever someone said to you and it will just bring up an image and retort all ready for you to post? credburn has a new favorite as of 08:24 on Nov 11, 2016 |

Not that I'm not horrified that the US faces forty years of darkness, but doesn't this bitching about the electoral college happen by the losing side ever election? Fortunately Prez Trump tweeted that the electoral college has to go, and now that he's won because of them he can do something about it! He meant it

Every time the liberals lose there is some hope that they can shame or convince the electors into changing their votes. Though if the electoral college didn't exist we'd be looking at a President Hillary anyways as she won the popular vote.

Here's a nice Facebook status for our veterans. But first, a comment on post election behavior. She's posted a few one-sided "look how these people are acting" posts since Wednesday morning while not really commenting on things people on the other side have done.quote:Our vets are on my mind this morning. Amidst all the outrage, panic, riots, destruction, etc. because one side won and the other lost (which is what happens every 4 years), I wonder if we can give it a rest for today and be grateful for the freedom they secure to allow us to behave any way we choose, and that we are much safer than we would be without THEM - past, present and future! They CHOSE to fight for us, protect us, and die for us if necessary - make them proud to have made that choice. I know we can do so much better than this. So much love, honor and respect to all our Vets - today and every day - may God bless and keep you safe wherever you are. I do appreciate the second comment though. quote:We can start with ourselves by not bringing it in to every conversation.
