I wonder what color Trump's hair is going to turn?

Unlike Rall's cackling psychopath Obama I think the real Obama feels some abstracted level of remorse when he fucks up and a sort of perpetual but perfectly manageable anxiety about certain global issues unfolding. For example, I think when he appeared to cry after Newtown he had gone thru the mental exercise of imagining his daughters being gunned down for no reason. All that type of poo poo and stress ages you.

I dunno what Trumps deal is but I dont think his brain really procceses things the same way so I dunno if he will age hugely.

I remain convinced that a good number of people who ascribe to conservatism, at least in the US, do so entirely to spite liberals and because it somehow makes them feel superior to them.

It's kind of funny, when you notice what you are noticing. I started seeing it the other day with a friend of mine posting right wing bullshit on facebook. I suddenly realized "They won. Why is he still posting this stuff?" It's because they don't know what else to do. They have literally won everything they want, and suddenly there is no direction to go in, no changes to brag about, because Trump has been vague and inconsistent so who knows what's coming. All they really have that's for sure is a negative: no more Obamacare, and for a lot of them I think even there, deep down, they feel bad that some people are going to get really hurt by that.

I actually do feel, on some level, sympathy for Hillary. She probably had to do a lot of poo poo that, at some point her life, she felt uncomfortable doing but felt that was her only option to Get Ahead As A Women In Washington. Not to excuse her of anything, and poo poo by now she may be a burnt-out husk of a human who felt nothing when backing wars or getting chummy with wall street. But people loving love Obama despite the fact that he, you know, picked the evil Hillary as part of his cabinet and has backed a lot of the same poo poo she has. But he's charismatic and she's like a flesh-wrapped robot trying to impersonate humans, so he gets the love and she gets scorn. And hey, in many cases it's well-deserved scorn.

I'm still pissed at her, and enjoying some schadenfreude at her place in history going to be losing to a complete novice in one of the biggest electoral upsets in our nation's history, but I do feel kinda bad for her.

That's the thing, it's the yesteryears, not the rising stars that are getting positions. As we saw from this year's dem bench, that causes issues in the future. The next conservative generation seems to be preferring to go into media. Of course it's not an irreversible issue, they just have to acknowledge it.

Pretty reprehensible.

But maybe...

This is probably why presidential candidates have a modern tradition of not directly demonizing certain creeds and races, and encouraging violence for the sake of popularity.

This is probably why we were all horrified when one of them decided to not be ~politically correct~.

This is probably what we all warned would happen, and has been happening.

So I feel bad for the old man.

But when your megaphone reaches the entire nation and speaks as its prospective leadership, you either say something presidential or you bite your loving tongue.

They weren't protestors, this was just some guys being assholes during a traffic incident. Beyond that, it's not clear. The video uploaded certainly doesn't show what lead up to that moment. Here's the Snopes link.

Seriously, this story started on loving InfoWars. edit: And to be one hundred percent clear, I sincerely doubt that what they did was justified. It could be a situation like that one right wing dude starting a fight with union people, but even then I doubt it. The incident, however, ain't a bunch of protestors grabbin some rando whitey and people trying to paint it as such are being disingenuous.

"Protests" indeed. Not that actually has any bearing on the point being made - that the video that cartoon is referencing is unrelated to the protests.

The year hasn’t been kind to the global elite.

Curiously, that made many Americans ashamed of their country. They’re resorting to violence because they don’t accept Tuesday’s election results. The same election they feared Donald Trump wouldn’t honor if the results were reversed.

To their credit, President Obama and Hillary Clinton gracefully accepted the voter mandate.

Others, however, are embarrassed because people are laughing at us. Many of whom live under the undemocratic rule of progressive experts. The European Union for example. The EU features strangling regulation, low growth, high unemployment, and negative interest rates.

The Brits had enough of that and voted to exit the E.U. – Brexit. Those voters too were laughed at by their enlightened betters who were embarrassed for their country.

Global Elite

The Obama agenda gave America eight years of increasing regulation, low growth, high unemployment (90 million outside the workforce), and near zero percent interest rates. Hillary Clinton promised to make us even more like France.

So American voters pulled a Brexit and elected Trump. The major media and pollsters missed both the U.K. and U.S.A. revolts entirely.

And that left the global elite shocked and dismayed.

If you think about the fact that 2008 was when Obama came to power, that's actually a really long time ago in terms of social media. 2008 was when Facebook was just emerging as a really big deal. There was no twitter, instagram, etc., etc. I would bet you that a majority of American right wingers, being old and somewhat out of touch, had no social media at all before November 2008, which means that literally all the political activity they have ever engaged in on social media has been anti-Obama stuff. I think you're right when you say they don't really know what else to do, because all they've ever done on social media in a political sense is to post anti-Obama memes.
