So I've been playing my sith sorcerer and am now level 31 but I feel like I've barely touched the game. I only have one companion, the angry alien dude who threatens me all the time. A few qs- I like crafting, I've gone synthweaving, archeology and underworld trading, is it pointless to keep this up? I feel like I'm very behind the curve here Does your "legacy" let you do empire and republic classes? The dark v light event, I got some random award at maybe level 20 or 25, when do I get more quests or do anything for this? What is the current level cap? And when does the event finish?

A few qs- Your legacy applies to both republic and empire classes. DvL is listed in the legacy tab under DvL, its not listed as a quest per se but you can look at the achievements under that tab and you can see how to get the various levels.

Gathering materials to sell on the GTN can be a source of revenue but it's not worth a lot of effort (you're not going to make any better armour than you can earn/buy). Some players don't bother with an actual crafting skill at all, they get three gathering skills instead (scavenging, archaeology and bioanalysis) and harvest everything as they go along. teacup posted:Does your "legacy" let you do empire and republic classes? And when does the event finish? You can see the Dark vs. Light objectives in the Achievements system. Open your Legacy panel ("Y" by default) and look under ACHIEVEMENTS / EVENTS / DARK VS LIGHT. There you can see the things you need to do to complete each level of DvL. The event ends on November 29.

A few qs- The crafting curve is tough to keep up with on double exp season, but it's a lot easier when you have more companions as you can send them on jobs simultaneously. Legacy contains certain unlocks that affect all your characters on that server, including Republic and Empire. Certain items can also be sent between characters in your legacy even if you wouldn't be able to trade them to another player. DvL achievements are in the "event" section of the achievements list - you can see everything you can do in there. Current level cap is 65. Event ends Nov 29th.

Personally I'm most excited about getting two free crafting companions (Shae and the DvL one) so all my toons that have only done the capital world can have a proper 6 companions to craft now! (1st comp, ship droid, Treek, Nico, Shae, DvL)

Well I'm hitting a wall on Czerka corporate on the first boss, as a tank. I'm a good tank, gently caress I'm an experienced tank and I feel like I'm getting hosed sideways here.

If you're on Jedi Covenant we can coordinate some runs. Dalris needs a few too, and if you can tank I can DPS which seems to have been a sticking point in our runs.

I especially love when people run to different corners after the water. AOE heals? Nahhhh. Hopefully with 5.0 they make Hard Modes relevant again. Kick yourself in the dick for an hour for a few rolls on lovely blue gear and one final roll on a crappy 216 crystal gear piece.

Turns out my lovely tanking is absolved. New group with a different healer and DPS and it went by without a hitch. And yeah that boss is a real motherfucker. Like, having never tanked any HMs in the game even playing it on and off since release I'm not really sure what to expect. I just now randomly got credit for kill 50 rakghouls during the event by killing the shade stalkers in the chapter 12 wilderness. That still leaves the infect players one though I think. Edit: nevermind its just kill 50 rakghouls in general, the infect is the only event specific one.

Imperial Agent How many of the people should I recognise in the recording that takes out the watchers? Kolovish is the "retired" matriarch of the Pilgrims on Tython. Shuuru is one of the Rift Alliance leaders (I think I made him leader on my consular...) At Voss, the best planet. The tea house stuff is neat.

There are just some enemies that do way too much damage for a group without a tank or healer, and so many bosses just have waaaaay too much health. I'm not really sure why. Though in the case of the armour set I'm assuming it's because they hadn't actually designed one when the event went live, seeing as we still don't know what it looks like

I finished the last tactical flashpoint for my own run at the easy dvl tiers. My sith random groups were 3 dps and a tank at best, usually 4 dps. My smuggler healer made in light of that did the other half and wouldn't get groups with less than two healers, usually three. Must be a republic thing. Or everyone else had the same idea. The best run was three stealthers and a trooper. We sped ran athiss using stealth and crowd control to skip past all the trash so it was like an escort quest with our challenge to get the trooper through. He died standing still to the four fireballs at the end boss, even with spammed heals, so I guess we failed the escort. Also chapter 13 or whichever was the heist restored my faith in this game and made me glad I came back for this event. I previously had stopped after opening up odessen. Spewy...

Also useful to know: LS/DS points from Diplomacy will allow you to get to rank 5 for the achievement, but they don't count for the event, so you can pile up DS points with Diplomacy and hit rank 5 without feeling guilty.

IA story kind of goes James Bond to Ah Boy to that's JASON BOURNE. Then in the expansions you are the non Force User who keeps having to fight Gods with wit and pistols you can't equip.

So long as the new expansion can take you from 65 to 70 by the time you finish it's all good. Right now one chapter from the current expansion levels you up, so it should be fine.

So for melting Crystals, I get that you melt commons into Comp gifts, but what about the Radiant and Glowing? Also are Weapon Gifts still the overall most reliable gift across all the comps? (I know Courting are worthless) EDIT: And what should I do with my Warzone Comms? Is tehre another way to get to Odessan other than buying the transport ticket?
