What do you guys think they will change about her? I'm personally thinking they're going to axe her shield powerup, at the least, considering it's weaker than dog crap now but was (allegedly) brokenly good when it increased them by 50.

And of course it would consistently regenerate if they managed to survive, unlike armor that gets depleted, and basically any other healing method requiring at least a line of sight. A 200 HP Tracer is extremely irritating to take down. I'd imagine them doing something weird like shields being reinforced while people are in range of Symmetra and then trickling back down to 25 points as they move away. also yeah Pharah totally should have an aerial jet-boost crouch that enables a fastfall.

Okay you're not wrong vis a vis videogames but IRL most snipers aim for center mass unless there's an extremely urgent reason the chest is not a safe place to shoot, same as most people whose jobs involve guns actually. Incidentally for all the salt Counterstrike's AWP gets, nobody's going to fault its torso OHK capabilities for a lack of a realism.

I've always pictured a rework of Symmetra as making her E deploy a placeable barrier your teammates can shoot through, like Reinhardt shield but with far less health.

Sure but if we're gonna bring realism into the mix slowing someone's heart rate until their skin turns blue doesn't make them an ultra-lethal assassin either, it usually just kills them. Widowmaker does 120 damage on a fully charged body shot which is as much as a direct rocket hit. If you don't want to be doing that then Blizzard has you covered, it's called "switch off of Widowmaker and actually get on the point." Simultaneously though he's also wrong about the idea that Pharah is only good when she's airborne. In point of fact, flying Pharahs are the easiest targets for good McCrees since Pharah's mobility in the air is so poor. Good Pharah players know when to go aerial and, more importantly, when to find a spot to touch down and shoot from cover instead of trying to simply stay floating in the air out of cover like the inability for other people to look up will somehow be all the protection they need.

I managed to get a POTG with Reinhardt basically by mistake and I got added by a guy. Now every time I log on he invites me to his party and says "Pick Rein Pick Rein!!!" And also pretty much by luck I've gotten POTG in like every other game we play together and now he thinks I am the best Reinhardt in the world

I've gotten used to holding shift with Mercy so I can stop mid-air if I decide to NOT get fully intimate with my guardian angel target by releasing shift. I'm kind of annoyed that Pharah doesn't have a similar feature with her jump jets so you could adjust the boost height yourself.

I imagine her deploying a building that gives everyone in range/vision however many points of shields. Less micromanagey than her current shields thing, lets her put out a more useful amount of shields without overpowering the flankers (who'd be out of range), and makes for more tactical gameplay.

Something that's supposed to give your team a bit of cover while moving or for a short approach, and not a zone you want to fight in. More like mei's ice wall I guess, but transparent, intangible for your team, and weaker. Imagine Symmetra being able to support her team by creating short duration safe zones for approaches, it would be pretty fun and involved!

2300-2500 strategy against Pharah seems to be "ignore her for the entire match" And when you're always stuck playing healer/tank cause everyone else slampicks DPS you can't do anything about it except beg some DPS to focus her

A tank class that has a gravity shield that soaks up all attacks for 2 seconds and shoots them back in a big cone would rule. That or a shield that gets charged and explodes in an AOE.
