i think the "black southern voters shouldn't be allowed to vote in presidential primaries" hot take from a few days ago is still more offensive than the "donald trump won't be that bad because he and hillary clinton are exactly the same thing" one, but only because i hear the latter repeated a lot more often by people who aren't actually targeted by republican policy
