I think the left needs someone who can rebrand socialism into something more palatable to the American public, like the way Frank Lutz turned robber barons into "job creators".

Mostly I'm just neck deep in an existential crisis. It seems like we can't win because the right employs all of the dirty tricks that we won't AND they have all the guns and tanks.

second one would have a short term (1-2 years) but massive reduction in global temperature from airborne particulates being blown into the upper layers of the atmosphere. but a nuclear exchange would ultimately release 700 million tons of carbon into the atmosphere, accelerating the process even more.
third one would see a big uptick in co2 emissions that would lead to a greater global mean temperature that would ultimately take us past the point of no return faster.
