PSL branch here said they've already doubled in numbers so far, although it's a pretty small branch. SAlt is the biggest org here by far and are increasing a ton as well

If the deportation/internment camp thing pans out I pray you know it's your civic duty as an American who theoretically respects the Bill of Rights to either register as a Muslim or form a chain gang to protect a mosque or whatever.

Who would make some good Socialist candidates for president in 2020 (that we know of?) Jon Stewart or Elizabeth Warren perhaps? Failing that would would make good congressional/gubernatorial candidates for 2018 races? Are there any major Socialists besides Bernie and Warren anyways?

hundreds of people could marry themselves to the dem party reform struggle; at best you'd get 4-8 years, before it reverts back to form. democrats aren't willing to build and maintain left party structures (unions, class-consciousness building propaganda, african/indian nationalist orgs).

If your state has an open primary it doesn't matter what party you are, and the Dems aren't purging party registrations like UK Labour or something You don't even really register as Dem, there's no fees, you basically just state intent
