there's a segment of journalism, I don't even know what to call it (clickbait is kind of a lazy term) where you take someone that people hate for whatever reason, real or imagined, and you write articles about whatever that dude said whenever the version of him in people's minds lines up with reality like if the narrative is "dude is sexist" you wait until the guy says something that can be construed that way and then that becomes news, and it's not actually about whatever that person says, the headline might as well be "beliefs about person confirmed" what max landis is actually like, who loving cares, but it's naive to think that "shadow" version in any way resembles reality

I love how he talked about how much he hates Jay, but the only gossip he had to drop on him was just an embarrassing story from when Jay was young and didn't know how to hold his liquor or talk to ladies yet - like a lot of guys that age. It wasn't any more embarrassing than Gilchrist's stand-up anyway.

Here's another idea. GHOST HOUSE. An 18th century suburban house is demolished and a car park is built in its place. Then strange things start to happen, your usual lights blinking, strange noises, cars smash into invisible walls. At first everyone suspects the spirit of the house owner, who was known for dabbling in the occult, but the ghost expert the car park owner hires finds in an old auction book that an African idol was in the private collection stored in the house, and it essentially ensouled the building. The movie ends with the house physically manifesting itself, and everyone admires the woodwork and stuff. Ghost is literally the walls.
