Almost the end of December, so that means it's time to officially give up on reaching my goal for NaNoManGo and work on my Christmas card instead. I am open to suggestions for what text to include on the inside of the card.

Happy Thanksgiving! Santa would mark you naughty or nice if he hadn't moved beyond the simplistic concept of a good/evil binary.

As far as art goes, the Samsung Note & Note Pro are my favorites. Of course I haven't tried Apple yet, so I might be biased. Does Apple jave the Wacom digitizer too?

Do you happen to have any tips on digitally coloring a greyscale image? I tried an overlay layer buuuut I'm not so sure that's the best way to do it, any tips would be super appreciated.

Thanks! As for coloring grayscale images, you can use a layer set to Color mode, but you may find that your underlying values weren't correct. Also you can end up with a kind of sterile "hand-tinted photo" look. What I do most often is turn the grayscale into a burnt umber reddish brown tone, turn the opacity down most of the way, and do a painting over that using a combination of Multiply and Normal layers. The multiply layers act like glazing with watercolor or thinned oil/acrylic. Then when the core darks and base colors are good, do highlights and other details on the opaque Normal layer. This would be the equivalent of gouache or impasto oil/acrylic. I have process videos for a bunch of my Procreate paintings if you want to see the rough process I use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bmQbLliOZM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l53m0QXmPXA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m-rc0EdmnI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naOoDZme4bw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa_SJiQZJUg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxY_jCXu5NI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLv5IyY6khg

That's an interesting technique, it definitely has a very authentic traditional feel to it. I know exactly what you mean by it looking flat and "hand tinted" to use a color layer, I'll keep your method in mind when I try to color it again. Thanks for the help!

Man, I fell off the wagon hard, but I got back on again and I've reached vehicles on drawabox: I was drawing along with a video so it's missing a lot of detail like rounding out the edges and some egregious mistakes were made like the giant gap between the treads and body that shouldn't have been there, but I'll remember it all for next time.
