Can eggs moves be passed down from the mother in this gen, or is it strictly the father? Also when using a Ditto as the mother, is the type of pokeball the Ditto is caught in passed down to the child, or does it still turn into the regular ol' pokeball?

Ditto won't pass down, but I think the other parent passes on with a Ditto now, according to a quick Google. (e: more specifically, Ditto means other parent passes down, different species always pass down the mother, and same species is a 50/50 for either parent's)
