Honestly, this far in, I don't think I buy Forsaken Monster being a harmless doof. This is leading to something. (Maybe, for example, since NMK's book is inside Forsaken Master's fear-space, it can be rewritten?) At the very least, it'll be something like "Almond's/Peridot's legitimate suppressed fears make the incompetent Master way more effective."

For one, I don't think that's a fear Cordelia actually had--her real fear is more that she'd unleashed this force she can't actually control and which was poised to destroy her if Peridot hadn't come in crying at just the right moment. She mostly seemed resigned that her ambition had failed, rather than afraid. And her reaction here seems less like fear and more like "this is some bullshit".

So I've been watching The Legend of Korra and I don't know if it's been mentioned but holy cow are Lord Cabbage and Varrick pretty much the exact same character. Visually, personality-wise, I mean, they even both trick out their prison cells! I mean just look at it:   The Mustaches Anyways that's all just thought I'd share.
