why the gently caress would they care though? All they know is that now they're being forced to spend $600 a month on the shittiest tier of health insurance, literally, on the planet. "Oh isn't it great, a situation my family has never been in will benefit lots of other people! Can't wait to spend $15,000 on healthcare this year!'

Yes yes, one in seven were being denied coverage because of it but that other 82% doesn't give a gently caress about that and just knows they're underemployed (welcome to Target!) and forced to spend a lot of money on something they hope they don't have to use cause it will cost them $6,500 up front, despite spending $600 a month. On top of that, 82% of people were never affected by this, then ACA went in to effect and they never noticed the benefits, so no poo poo they won't care about it.

The stupidest thing the ACA did was a) letting states decide anything for something they tried to coin as 'obamacare' as a slur and b) not offering some free tier because 'please someone think of the health insurance companies'.

So I've started friend-ing some of the local young Democrat power brokers and got into an argument on a person's wall about the legitimacy of the Cuban regime. I was challenged to join the Peace Corps, piss up a rope, and explain to somebody's face why their uncle was shot. I also admitted I would prefer a one-party state where everyone got basic needs met over the current single party of rich people divided into two factions.

I am moving on up in the party.

There aren't really any laws specifically for bisexual people I can think of that HRC could be advocating for or hurting but they contribute to the general idea held by the wide public of people either being gay or straight. "Bisexual erasure" is the term people typically use. HRC is just generally held to be an organization that is by and for white gay men.
