The video is totally desynced from the music, the conductor's movements don't correspond to what's going on at all.

God drat it would piss me off if that was the last thing I saw on TV.

That's it? Just some lovely marching band? What a lame loving sendoff for the human race. At least get some Beethoven or Velvet Underground or something up in there.

For some reason I parsed this as velvet revolver and couldn't stop laughing at the idea of humanity going out to slither and Scott Weiland's stupid loving pants

You know what I think it actually is in sync, only they got one of these pick-me-up conductors, who show the beat by vaguely waving upwards rather than actually beating downwards like sensible people. Come to think of that's even worse.

That song was everywhere in the mid/late 90's. You could not escape it, you could not avoid having the lyrics etched in black pitch upon your brain for all time. If you were exposed to it at its peak, you will go to your grave being able to recite it by heart.

The 90s had a lot of song like this. It was definitely the decade for driving singles into the loving dirt.

There is some very sensual touching going on in the cutscene there. i don't actually think it means anything sexual but it's cool how it contrasts with modern ideas of what bad ass stuff should be like. It even seems authentic to some kind of chivalric masculine touching from a tyme longe gone

If it was nuclear war that would piss me off. Let's all pause to romanticize the martial dignity of the nation-state one last time before it erases the miracle of life from the known universe
