It's a piece of JUNK!
I was so happy with how they introduced the Baron in Doom 4. Not sure if it will ever be as iconic as the original, but I sure can't think up anything better than how they did it.

I agree, but I also would have been okay with a cutscene of Doomguy flipping it the bird, no matter how out of character it may or may not have been.

Oh.

There's a bunch of Duke 3D textures as well, as well as what I assume is stuff ripped from Doom wads. I swear the Nixie tubes from the HUD are from Metro 2033.

I gave it to Blood myself. Although with Space Trucker, apparently it should have gone to TekWar.

Bombshell could be a decent sidekick for Duke. I kinda like the character but she just needs to be in a good game, so hopefully this ends up being the case with the Bombshell D3D project.

I got to try out Turok and I gotta say the mouse and keyboard setup really help with the platforming.

Sidekick?!

... actually it'd be pretty great if the two of them starred in the same game and she spends the entire ride trying to not get her thunder stolen by Duke. :3:

If I remember right some version of DNF had a sidekick character called Bombshell. So I just figured this Bombshell was related somehow.

Oh wait here she is

laserghost

She was planned at least since Q1 iteration, as she's clearly visible in few scenes. I think the idea was pretty firmly rooted because in the console spin-offs EDF base is staffed nearly exclusively by Barbie-like chicks in camo pants.

I remember reading the DNF FAQ at old 3DR website where they claimed that Bombshell's appearance wasn't yet decided.

I'm okay with a game where Bombshell does all the work and stays quite while Duke takes all the credit. They save the president and the world.

Hopefully in D3D or U4 engine.

Probably not a serious request, but when has that ever stopped me? :v:
Well the gamepad and joystick/wheel will work as long as SDL can profile them (or if they use XInput). Separating the keyboard and mouse is a trickier task, as they aren't treated as separate HALs in Eternity and would instead rely on the same device having two different sets of binds. I'll keep it in mind.
