That's new words that have been invented, not new contradictory meanings for old words. I don't like losing useful words by meaning drifting- what word can I use if I want to indicate "this is exactly what happened without exaggeration?" Apparently I can't use "literally" any more.

I was actually surprised so many politicians came out to say anything nice about Castro. Given the current political climate, I expected thorough denouncement of his life or very tepid "He certainly is dead." at best.

They aren't new words, all of those were words before the tech version existed, although to be fair I don't know that anyone ever used "computer" to mean "one who computes" even if it was in the language.

Hillary called Trump personally to concede and congratulate him on winning, and Trump himself was very gracious and complimentary about that call. Hillary is also not the one asking for the recount, and the people asking for the recount do not believe it will change the outcome of the election.

But the facts have nothing to do with the truth and Garrison just really doesn't want to stop drawing Mean Ol' Hillary yet.

It absolutely was used in that sense. For many years after the invention of electronic computing, it was cheaper and much more efficient to just get a team of mathematicians if you needed a lot of data processed, and they often were called "computers."

My old-rear end X-ray crystallography professor would tell stories about the three young women computers he had working in his lab back in the day.

Kirschen appears to be suggesting intimidation as a means to push back against the boycott of Israel, which he seems to believe is anti-Semitic in nature.

So does Kirschen just believe that people are no longer able to listen to reason? That their views are just being powered by hate? Does he have a reason to think otherwise?

His madness is driving my own.

Hillary doesn't have anything to lose, isn't paying for it, and probably got prodding from a lot of people to kind of sort of jump on the train. I feel like a lot of Hillary supporters want the recount. Plus it pissed off Trump and made him make an rear end of himself again so yeah.
