you can take some ideas from a philosophy without adopting every single thing the author says. Bound to be a few duds in a 2,500 page + tome like Capital. Even really good philosophers can't knock it out of the park with every swing you know

I was actually surprised so many politicians came out to say anything nice about Castro. Given the current political climate, I expected thorough denouncement of his life or very tepid "He certainly is dead." at best.

Hillary called Trump personally to concede and congratulate him on winning, and Trump himself was very gracious and complimentary about that call. Hillary is also not the one asking for the recount, and the people asking for the recount do not believe it will change the outcome of the election. But the facts have nothing to do with the truth and Garrison just really doesn't want to stop drawing Mean Ol' Hillary yet.

For many years after the invention of electronic computing, it was cheaper and much more efficient to just get a team of mathematicians if you needed a lot of data processed, and they often were called "computers." My old-rear end X-ray crystallography professor would tell stories about the three young women computers he had working in his lab back in the day.

Kirschen appears to be suggesting intimidation as a means to push back against the boycott of Israel, which he seems to believe is anti-Semitic in nature. So does Kirschen just believe that people are no longer able to listen to reason? That their views are just being powered by hate? Does he have a reason to think otherwise? His madness is driving my own. E:. Also holy hell that stuff about Hamilton. Good on them. War Wizard fucked around with this message at 01:07 on Nov 29, 2016 |
