Shivering, my family would gather round a fire every christmas, and my father, an out of work irish carpenter, would bring out the Uline catalog that he bought with the little savings he could scrap together, and we'd just dream of office supplies. I would read through the pages all year, imagining one day having my very own xerox paper collator or industrial lock-out tag-out kit. No matter how hungry or coldthe winter was, we forgot all about it when we opened up that catalog, even if just for a second. |
