As much as I love fallout, I guess I will wait for the inevitable discount special goty that has all dlc + the game for pennies. Definitely gonna grab Witcher though. That's loving stupid from a business standpoint. God Bethesda is being bad with this.

I'm guessing the plot veers into stupidity after the initial bombing + waking up from cryo? I got to play it for a bit on a friend's console and then got to the part with power armor near the start. Then I used said armor to punch out the deathclaw.

Normally Bethesda writing just makes me roll my eyes, but 4 was the first one that actually made me turn off the game for six months and eventually come back to it. At least having a mod that lets me see what dialogue I'm actually picking helps me feel a little bit more in control, but the fact that there's only one way for the Kellogg confrontation to go is just Not Fallout to me.

Betheda's fallout obsession with parents and children is such a pile of crap for the sort of story telling that should be happening in a fallout game about emerging into a new and foreign world and even though i'm a life long east coaster, the whole point of the series meshes with the wide open wastes and spirit of opportunity of the west so much better than dc/boston city scapes
