i had to drop off fliers in the ultra exclusive end of town yesterday and my favourite thing was that all the mailboxes are decorated with a gumleaf & gumnut motif but the actual gardens only contain european plants because australian flora isn't pretty and lush enough. my second favourite thing was that in five hours i didn't see a single non-suv vehicle except for my own. and my third favourite thing was that vanya decided to get Tired after about twenty metres so i had to do the whole neighbourhood while carrying eight kilograms of happy little dog
