Like a lot of Gambino things, I can get down with the new album in theory but the execution is so lacking. Donald needs to quit copying his influences and work on a sound that's actually "his" and fits his strengths as an artist. BTI was the closest he ever got to that and it's disappointing that his last three projects have been shallow copies of other peoples' music

Since we're loosely on the topic of Dong Lover, my cousin lives in Belgium, has some money (unlike Earn) and is trying to promote grime rap around the world (much like Earn). I made a visit to France earlier this year, he told me that one artist he's been trying to plug hard is AJ Tracey.

mike will has been another one of my favorites for a long time but i think he has dropped off a bit in 2016 but from like 2012-15 he was killing it. still capable of making great stuff but seems to have peaked.

this is still one of my favorite beats of his

Really hype for RTJ3. I saw the opening show of the tour was close and I figured with the election it would be a pretty charged show so I snatched those tickets up quick.

How are their shows? Been listening to el p since Fantastic Damage but have never been able to go.

They are pretty much what you'd expect. Very high energy on stage and a lot of white people losing their minds.

the first track on Gambino's new album is awesome. I'm not familiar with much of the 70s stuff it is apparantly inspired by, so its new to me rather than a ripoff.

now I'm on track 3 and I'm already getting sick of it
