It's also worth noting that Witten's contract was signed back in 2011 and was a 7-year deal. Thomas' and Pitta's deals are for 5 years and Graham's was for 4. Guaranteed annual pay usually doesn't kick in until the 1st/2nd day of the league year, if a player is still on the roster. Roster and Workout bonuses kick in on the appropriate days. If a player is cut before these cutoff dates, he gets nothing.
