I think I'd rather get a second season of this than a slightly more provocative version of this season. They did manage to slip James Holmes's logo into, what, episode 2 anyways? This episode was great. I think it hit the right mix of angst, absurdity, and horseshoe theory. The whole season so far's been pretty good, but this episode was probably the most consistent. Sam at the gym always makes me laugh anyways.

It's a real bummer that so much poo poo is censored, the description in that video puts it nicely: Adult Swim let them run free and do their own thing until the eleventh hour when it came time to air the show then they went "wait you guys can't do that" and made them censor everything. If [AS] were involved with the production of the show they would have nixed the idea before it was already shot or too late to fix, then they could have at least re-edited it or re-shot another few scenes so it would fit with a different song.

Someone on the MDE subreddit leaked a rough cut of the episode that just aired. It's on YouTube but I dunno if it's  or I'd link it here.It's uncensored, includes the original Cop Killer ending, doesn't censor the walls of text, and has the original logo. I think the show was cancelled partly because a good portion of mde fans are garbage retards who started berating adult swim employees over a bunch of imaginary reddit poo poo. I wish sam would chill out too. He called into tim heideckers radio show accusing him of conspiring to get the show cancelled and it was kinda pathetic.

Yeah if you look at the mde subreddit it might as well be /b/ but with usernames. It's just random garbage and people trying to pull out a deeper meaning of the show while projecting their own personal politics on to it. You would not believe how many people make "redpill" analysis of the show like it's the most subversive thing to ever exist. That being said I think Sam + the gang are just trying to be as controversial as possible, even if that means going as far as being "ironic" nazis for a laugh. They hosed themselves over with this and if they're going to stick with the loving alt right of all groups after their show got cancelled they deserve whatever flak they get.

I have followed MDE for a while and the news of their highly rated show getting cancelled due to politics is very disheartening. I don't know Sam or anything, but he just seems to me like a guy who really likes comedy and doesn't get wrapped up in what is popular opinion. He does things for comedy even if they aren't funny or even if they are just disgusting. As do a lot of comedians. A lot of the people who like that his show was cancelled admit they haven't even seen it. It was a funny show with some really poignant moments that didn't kowtow to identity politics and just poked fun at every one and I, as a liberal, really enjoyed it. Because it was funny. Anyway, they will be fine. gently caress Brett Gelman though for real.
