Yamcha being terrified the whole time he was out on the bases was great. Piccolo coaching his son was great. Everyone hugging Goku to get the HFIL out of the field was great.

I also the how. despite being the only one with any real baseball experience, Yamcha really only won out of pure dumb luck. Also, I'm pretty sure they never actually made it past the first inning, which is also the mark of a great baseball episode.

It wasn't luck, whilst everyone else took shelter under the energy shield Yamcha persevered and kept on running beneath the onslaught of Beerus and Champa's battle to score the winning point. That's what really elevates the episode: aside from all the (legit funny) jokes it is a fairly straight story about Yamcha's determination for once not to be overshadowed by literally everyone else on the show and despite his numerous and humiliating beatings along the way, he does.
