So I know I get level up books from pvp and the free level 80 with hot. Im curious though whats the best way to level alts since the vanilla content doesn't seem very fun to slog through a second time. I don't want to pve to much on my one duder until I am sure what class I want to pve with in general since the grind is real for legendary gear and stuff.

I find PVP to help me power level characters. you get the level up books pretty frequently. Especially if you do the dailies.

I got the loving gooniest hate tells today from a dude. I included the teamchat from beforehand for context. language, slurs and some pretty gross death wishes(E2: Okay pizzagate is actually a conspiracy theory about hillary clinton's campaign manager running a pedo ring (that maybe included baby eating??) and her knowing about it, crazy guy definitely ranted on Mag TS about H being a baby eater tho)  Later I saw him on Maguuma BL and ran up to him and pointed and laughed a bunch and he flipped out again. Nah dude, pve to you heart's content in vanilla zones to gather karma and poo poo for legendaries while also getting a better feel on which class you will like best. There is so much stuff to get for legendaries that wanting to put it off until you know what class you want it on is mind boggling to me. People keep forgetting this, but this game's pve never really gets out leveled. Due to the level sync mechanics, literally every level 1 starter area has new content and cool stuff to see and do for even level 80 spergmasters. And there is a metric fuckton of content. I played like the first 2 years on mostly just my ranger (condi ranger, back when both ranger and condi were poo poo) and all I did was slowly do all the vanilla maps and poo poo. And gently caress around, mostly I just hosed around. poo poo was great!
