The simplest answer is that Howard was probably cheating like a motherfucker and Allison knew about it, hence the divorce. Come on guys, its not that complicated. The fact that he cant keep the Beth timeline straight kinda proves this.

Man, I'm listening to the tail end of the Best of KC Armstrong pack and poo poo is grim. The last hour has just been KC calling up to promote the latest scam he's somehow involved with (one was literally called the Legal Pyramid, "y'know...like Pyramid Scheme.") Plus he's always got a suspended license or warrants or something. He's kind of like Kramer, but with more mental health issues and less success. I wonder if he ever managed to clean himself up or actually get real help.

In all fairness, I think the extremely good ones are in the tens of thousands of dollars range and up because they use real human hair and elaborate systems that themselves can cost I think upwards of 5-10 grand a year just to do the upkeep. But those are also the people who you can't notice like you can with Bobo so for them it's likely money very well spent. Bobo probably spent what was a fortune to him on that.
