My vet explained that the Royal Canin SO is practically the same when it comes to what the formula needs to do. Which was handy when she stopped eating the C/D wet and then later the SO out of boredom with the taste I guess. Hills has a different type of S/D that is minced in a gravy that she does like a lot. It even comes in moderate calorie so your cat doesn't blimp up. I'd like to switch her off it one day and back to Wellness Core but I'll listen to the vet when it comes to that sort of thing.
