Mystery Heroes is great on my tier because everyone is A Main whereas I'm relatively mediocre to good at a lot of different heroes for my SR so it's usually the only time I can come close to carrying. Also I avoid death more which I wish I could translate into actual play.

This is the first iteration of said title to directly refer to lore rather than gameplay, but considering the comic and its effects have easily been the best part of the winter event, it's a welcome change.

Symmetra is game-breakingly strong and I'm ready to quit this game until they do something about her. Defense on Anubis just rushes Attack's spawn to give her time to set up at the choke and then it just never ends. EDIT: She just soloed my Dva several times. I don't think Symmetra is OP, but her shield generator needs a limit, probably based on application like her teleporter. It's not just about it being too strong, but it's the only ultimate in the game with an infinite duration. This becomes a problem in maps in which it can be placed in a spot that can be defended easily, like Anubis and Hanamura B. Making sombra viable and buffing her hack to be immediate and maybe long lasting on placeables would be an interesting fix, too. Let torbjorn whack his turret to wake it up but make the shield generator be unusable for a full minute? Probably a weird fix but I just want Sombra to have a place in the game as well.

Sombra's place in the game seems to be Lucio Deterrent. I always argued that Junkrat served that purpose but nobody ever listened to me. I went like 2-11 in one of the worst nights I've ever had with this game, and Sym was so much built around it that I'm basically done. I'm playing for silly holiday skins which will be fun to play with in the future when the holidays are over and the game is patched and Sym is nerfed. It's fine if she has a bunch of turrets or even the shield, but everything all together collects into being terrible, enormous levels of damage.

Set it so that Sym can prolong the life of her shield generator by building ult charge (after its placed) but if she dies she loses that built-up extra time. You'd encourage her to be aggressive but still punish over-extending, plus you'd make it so that her ult wasn't the only infinite duration ult in the game. e: Or have the gen slowly drain its strength or health the longer it exists, which she can restore as she does things that would normally build ult. I found myself feeling much more punished for overextending in this mode, since you lose your ult charge/ult use, and it helps to remind me to play a bit more patient and less wreckless. I've enjoy trying out all of the heroes, even the ones I would never pick, like Widow, because they're much more fun when they're not expected and you can sneak up on them. When the enemy gets a nasty combination and you have no luck breaking it, it's just throwing yourself to the fire until you spawn as something that can counter them or hope someone gets a kill and breaks their comp. It's definitely a pretty fun mode if you don't mind occasionally having to play heroes you don't like or are not very good at.
